Foldable Laundry Basket With Wheels

Laundry day usually involves carrying an overloaded basket down a hallway with your chin holding the top layer in place. This one rolls. At 55 x 40 x 35 cm it swallows a full load of clothes, towels or bed linen, and the wheels take the weight of that load between the bedroom, the bathroom and the machine so nothing has to be lifted along the way.

The capacity is the point on sorting day: darks in, whites out, and enough depth to hold a week for a household rather than a single wash. Push it where you need it and it stays put while you load. When the basket is empty and you want the floor back, the body folds down flat, so it slides behind a door, into a utility cupboard or under a shelf instead of standing around taking up a corner of the room.

It is made from sustainable materials, which keeps the empty basket light enough to move one-handed even before the wheels help. The finish is a classic white that reads as neutral next to tiles, a washing machine or bedroom furniture rather than announcing itself. It suits a laundry room, a bedroom corner or a bathroom, and a small flat where storage has to fold away between uses.
