Description
Tiled kitchens and wooden stairs are cold underfoot and slippery in ordinary socks. These indoor socks are knitted to hold warmth along the whole foot and up to the calf, with a soft fleece face on the inside and grip elements set into the sole. They are meant to be lived in around the house: pulled on in the morning on a cold floor, kept on through the evening, and left on overnight if you sleep with cold feet.
The grip pattern on the underside gives your foot something to bite on when you cross laminate, tile or polished boards, which is the point at which thick socks usually slide. The knit is stretchy enough to pull up over the calf or roll down into a shorter cuff, and the top edge sits without digging in, so the same pair works under loose trousers or with nothing over them at all.
Each pair weighs roughly 0.22 to 0.25 lb, in a moderate thickness that still fits inside a slipper, and comes in standard sizing as shown in the reference image. Wash by hand or in a machine; they are made for indoor wear rather than outdoor use with shoes. Six colours are offered: beige, black, blue, gray, navy blue and wine red. They suit anyone in a cold house, a draughty flat or a home office where the heating goes off during the day.

Grip On Tile And Stairs
A tiled kitchen and a wooden staircase are the two places ordinary socks turn into a hazard. Grip elements in the sole hold where plain knit slides.
Warm From Toe To Calf
The knit holds heat along the whole foot and carries on up the leg, so your ankles are not left bare above the warm part.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the grip work?
Grip elements are set into the sole itself, so they bite on tile, laminate and wooden stairs where a plain knitted sole simply slides.
How far up the leg do they come?
Up to the calf. That length matters more than people expect, since a cold ankle undoes most of the benefit of a warm foot.
What is the lining like?
A soft fleece face on the inside, which is what makes them comfortable enough to wear all day rather than just for an hour on the sofa.
Can I wear them outside?
They are made for indoors, which is exactly why they work so well: the grip sole and thick fleece are built for hard floors rather than shoes.
How do I wash them?
A cool machine wash and air dry. Keeping them out of a hot dryer protects both the fleece and the grip on the sole.
