Washable Incontinence Bed Protector

Stripping and remaking a bed at three in the morning is the part nobody plans for. This pad sits on top of the sheet and takes the accident instead of the mattress, so the recovery is one pad in the wash rather than a full change of bedding. It is made for adults managing urinary incontinence, for children in potty training and for postpartum nights at home.

Four layers do the work. The quilted top is brushed polyester, soft enough to lie against skin directly; the layer beneath it absorbs and locks moisture away from the surface; a waterproof barrier under that stops anything reaching the mattress; and a non-slip backing grips the sheet so the pad does not wander during a restless night. It covers a wider area than a standard pad, which is why it also works across a sofa cushion, an armchair or a car seat.

It is polyester throughout and machine washable, holding its absorbency and its softness through more than 300 washes, which makes it a reusable alternative to a stack of disposables. Two sizes are available: M at 50 x 70 cm (19.6 x 27.5 in) and L at 70 x 90 cm (27.5 x 35.4 in), each in black or gray. Suitable for home, hospital and care settings.
