Cordless LED Table Lamp

A table lamp normally has to live wherever the nearest socket is. This one carries its own rechargeable battery, so it can sit in the middle of a dining table, on a windowsill with no outlet behind it, or out on a balcony for the evening, and be moved again the next day. It stands 10 inches tall on a 4 inch square base and weighs 1.5 lbs, light enough to carry with one hand and heavy enough not to tip when a table is knocked.

Charging is over USB with the supplied cable, and the lamp can be used while it charges. The top of the base is a touch sensor rather than a switch: hold a finger on it and the LED runs smoothly up and down through its brightness range, so the same lamp gives a low glow over dinner and a brighter pool of light for reading. There are no bulbs to replace and no exposed contacts.

The body is water resistant, which is what allows it outdoors on a patio or in a garden without being brought in the moment the weather turns. Interior Angle offers five finishes, in black, gold, pink, silver and white, so it can be matched to a restaurant table setting or a bedside shelf. Wipe it down with a damp cloth and charge it fully before storing it over winter. The box holds the lamp, a USB cable and a user guide.
